Description

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize logistics operations for our Ready-Mix division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fleet planning, delivery performance, operational coordination, and ensuring customer commitments are met efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep knowledge of Ready-Mix logistics and fleet operations within the GCC.

Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership
• Lead all logistics operations for the Ready-Mix division, ensuring alignment with production targets and overall business goals.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies that enhance fleet efficiency, delivery reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present logistics performance reports, dashboards, and improvement plans to senior management.

Fleet Planning & Resource Management
• Oversee fleet availability, planning, and long-term resource allocation for mixers, pumps, and heavy vehicles.
• Monitor and analyze key fleet KPIs, including utilization, routing efficiency, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
• Drive initiatives to reduce downtime, minimize delays, and optimize fleet deployment across all plants.

Team Leadership & Workforce Development
• Lead logistics supervisors, drivers, pump operators, and dispatch teams.
• Conduct performance appraisals, identify skill gaps, and develop competency and training plans.
• Ensure smooth coordination between logistics staff across multiple plant locations.

Compliance, Documentation & HSE
• Ensure full compliance with QCS, ISO standards, traffic regulations, and internal HSE procedures.
• Oversee the accuracy and completeness of logistics documentation, delivery records, and operational reports.
• Address high-level site issues, operational bottlenecks, and customer escalations professionally.

Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with Maintenance, Production, and QC teams to ensure vehicle readiness and timely delivery of concrete.
• Provide input for major project pours and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers to meet delivery schedules.

Cost Management & Continuous Improvement
• Manage logistics budgets, implement cost-control measures, and identify opportunities to increase profitability.
• Introduce best practices, systems, and processes that enhance operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

Requirements

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
• 10–12 years of experience in Ready-Mix, construction logistics, dispatch, or heavy vehicle fleet management.
• Strong exposure to GCC operations; Qatar experience preferred.

Certifications & Technical Knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Ready-Mix operations, dispatching, fleet coordination, and concrete delivery processes.
• Experience with fleet management systems and GPS tracking platforms.

Skills & Competencies
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.
• Deep understanding of site logistics and concrete delivery standards.
• Strong communication and customer-facing capabilities.
• High problem-solving capability and ability to work under pressure.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and act on insights.
